Report: Beware of Fake EFCC Recruitment Portal
As reported by Newswall247 and seen on EFCC social handles, the EFCC has issued a press statement warning the public about a fraudulent recruitment portal claiming to be associated with the agency. The spurious portal, with the URL www.efcc.gov.ng/efcc/careers, has been notifying “all eligible applicants” about an upcoming employment drive scheduled to commence on May 23, 2023.
The EFCC categorically states that it does not have any recruitment portal, nor is there any ongoing employment schedule at present. The agency urges the public to disregard the information provided on the fake recruitment portal. Furthermore, the EFCC warns the individuals behind this employment scam to cease their fraudulent activities immediately. Failure to do so may result in their arrest and prosecution by the Commission.
The press statement was issued by Wilson Uwujaren, the Head of Media & Publicity at the EFCC, on May 16, 2023.
